I am a master's student at King's College London studying mathematics. I recently graduated from the University of Leicester with a bachelor's degree in mathematics. I currently tutor on MyTutor with an amazing track record, many hours taught, and many great reviews (https://www.mytutor.co.uk/tutors/9664198/).

So I often take a more collaborative approach and get the students to explain as much as they can. I encourage them to make mistakes as it's part of the learning process, so be assured that confidence will always be built whilst their mathematics skills also increase. I try to make my lessons fun and lighten the mood with jokes and general chit chat here and there. I typically would go through examples and then get the students to try and answer questions on their own.

Each lesson, students are often in charge of what they want to learn however if they find they don't know, then I can assist with that. Homeworks are not given but if they are requested then I am able to set them according to the lessons.

The students goals are the reason they are having these tutoring sessions, so I put emphasis on making sure that every bit of information they recieve is accurate and clear. They are given many opportunities to ask questions of their own.
